Hunting at The Fork

At The Fork you will find everything you need for a memorable hunt. 1600 acres of woods, marshes and fields steeped in history and tradition offer hunting opportunities for duck and quail. Please call to inquire 704-474-4052, ext. 228.

Guests are encouraged to bring their families who can join them in the hunt or participate in a variety of other activities available at The Fork.

Much more than an average hunting experience, The Fork provides an opportunity to experience traditional upland game hunting away from the hustle and bustle of modern society. Hunting Rate Schedule: 2015-2016 Season (October 1st-March 31)

Half Day Quail Hunt
Morning or afternoon hunt with light lunch.
Guide, dogs, cleaning and packaging of birds, and field transportation included. 20 gauge over and under shotguns preferred for quail hunts.

Full Day Quail Hunt
Morning hunt followed by light lunch and afternoon hunt.
Guide, dogs, cleaning and packaging of birds, and field transportation included. 20 gauge over and under shotguns preferred for quail hunts.

Duck Hunt – State Duck Limit
Morning hunt followed by a country brunch. Guide, dogs, cleaning and packaging of ducks, and field transportation included.

Additional Services

Lodging $125.00 + tax per room per night
Additional Meals upon request call for pricing
Gun Rental ½ day - $35.00,
full day - $50.00
Shotgun Shells (all gauges, per box) market value
Rental of "The Ordinary" Gun Lodge for private functions (tables and chairs available): $600 per day

CANCELLATION POLICY:
The reservation will be for a specific number of hunters on a date with confirmed availability for hunting. Rates on our website are per individual hunter.

A 100% deposit is due when your reservation is made.

No refunds are given for cancellations. Hunters are allowed to reschedule during the same hunting season if an opening is available. A hunt may be rescheduled for the following hunting season but is subject to rate and policy changes.

Inclement weather may cause a hunt to be cancelled and subsequently rescheduled at The Fork’s discrepancy.

Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the experience I had at The Fork. I took my son on his first Duck and Quail hunt on the same day and we were able to shoot our limit of both in just a few hours. Our guides were very experienced and helpful especially given the fact my son is not an experienced hunter. Our accommodations in the Lodge were first class and both the meals prepared by the staff were excellent. I hope I get the opportunity to come back and enjoy this very special place you have created!
